Is Donald Trump about to be fired?
Everyday it gets worse. You lie. You cheat. You give classified information about ISIS to Russia and then tweet about it like it’s nothing. You hit new lows every day, and the worst part is that your insanity already feels normal.
It’s like they said on Saturday Night Live last weekend: “Nothing matters. Absolutely nothing matters anymore.”
Not even the MOAB dropped by the New York Times last night when they reported that James Comey, the now ex-FBI director, said that you told him to stop investigating ex-National Security Advisor Micheal Flynn for his numerous Russian ties and lies. “I hope you can let this go,” you told him. He didn’t and last week he became the latest contestant on this season of The Apprentice to get the axe.
You don’t have to be Matlock to see that this is obstruction of justice. If true, this means the ”President” of the United States has now actually committed a crime. Like a real, punishable, impeachable crime. You’d think this would mean they’ll be getting out the gold handcuffs and hauling you not only out of the White House but off to jail. Personally I’m not holding my breath.
People keep asking when it’s going to be our turn to call you into the board room and give you a big fat: ”YOU’RE FIRED!” Sadly, chances are that’s not going to happen anytime soon, and maybe not at all.
Why? Three reasons.
The first is that nothing matters anymore.
The second is that there are Republican majorities in both the Senate and the House. For you to be fired, the Republicans would have to speak up, and that’s just not possible with your dick in their mouths. Everyone keeps saying that we just have to be patient and wait for the Democrats to get their shit together and (maybe) take back the House in midterm elections in November of 2018. But that’s 18 months away. Anything could happen between now and then.
Aaaaand that brings me to reason three, which is way worse than the first two and something most people just aren’t talking about for whatever reason.
Here’s what I think is really going to happen. Before those midterm elections and/or before the Republicans grow a pair, there will be a terrorist attack on American soil or against US interests abroad.
And then you’ll react.
