A Finnishized American woman writes letters to her countryʼs president.

Try not to gag as you watch Trump “compliment” President Macron’s wife

You know what they say: You can’t teach an old dog new tricks. And it’s obvious that the same goes for 71-year-old ex reality TV stars turned US presidents with long and well-documented histories of disgusting comments to and about women.

Long story short, on an official state visit to France, you greet President Macron and his wife Brigitte by looking her up and down and – clearly surprised – marveling: “You’re in such good shape,” leaving out what we all know you were thinking: “for your age”.

As if that wasn’t enough, you then turn to her husband and say: ”She’s in such good physical shape,” because hey, props to Emmanuel for keeping his property… oops, I mean wife looking so hot.

Then you continue to embarrass her, yourself and the entire United States by leering at her head-to-toe one last time and saying: “Beautiful,” giving weight to the theory that perhaps you actually do suffer from the world’s worst case of Tourette’s.

I guess we’re supposed to just be relieved that you only grabbed her by the hand and not by the pussy.

What you said was bad. But what everyone else there didn’t say is worse.

Let’s start with your wife, Melania. It’s blatantly obvious that she is just as repulsed by you as the rest of us. Yet she stands by smiling as you “compliment” the body of the first lady of France and says “Yes!” in agreement.

Now on to Emmanuel Macron, who also clearly can’t stand you. You have to listen pretty closely to hear it, but he chimes in with “Yes, she’s doing alright. I’m doing alright.”

Sigh.

One of the best responses, however, came in the form of this tweet:

Growing up in New York City, we were always told that the best way to deal with those nasty construction workers is to ignore them. But that’s total bullshit.

Ignoring harassment might be the easiest and quickest way to get out of an uncomfortable situation, but it’s definitely not the best way to deal with it. And that’s because ignoring someone catcalling you doesn’t take away their power, it takes away yours. Anyone who has ever been the girl in that deli knows that firsthand.

Yes, Brigitte Macron is a beautiful woman. But seriously. Couldn’t Melania, Emmanuel or even Brigitte herself come up with anything better than “Yes!”, “She’s doing alright, I’m doing alright” or that awkward silence that happened as Brigitte and Melania tried to make their escape?!?

I swear to God, if I could have teleported myself into Brigitte Macron’s in-such-great-shape body yesterday I would have said something equally as inappropriate and hopefully hurtful. Something like: “Hey Don, just pull out your dick already so we can settle this ‘hand size’ thing once and for all.”
