Japanese police added fresh charges of rape and murder Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009 against Ichihashi who was arrested in Osaka, western Japan, on Nov. 10, in the slaying of teacher Lindsay Ann Hawker whose body was found in a sand-filled bathtub more than two years ago, officials said. Police adjusted the original photo to represent Ichihashi’s clean-shaven appearance.
