Japan Slain Briton
In this image distributed Nov. 6, 2009 by Chiba Prefectural Gyotoku Police, based on a photograph taken late Oct., 2009, Tatsuya Ichihashi, the prime suspect in the murder case of British language school teacher Lindsay Ann Hawker in 2007, is shown after cosmetic surgeries. Hawker, 22, was found dead in March 2007, her body taped up and half-buried in a sand-filled bathtub on the balcony of an apartment in Ichikawa, east of Tokyo, Japan. Police adjusted the original photo to represent Ichihashi’s clean-shaven appearance.
