Guatemala Drug Sub
In this Oct. 21, 2009 photo provided by the U.S. Coast Guard, the crew of the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Jarvis and other U.S. law enforcement agency officials board and inspect a self-propelled semi-submersible vessel during an intercept and seizure in the international waters of the Eastern Pacific off the coast of Guatemala. Guatemalan Defense Ministry spokesman Col. Byron Gutierrez said the semi-sub was detected by Guatemalan personnel operating jointly with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. An undetermined amount of cocaine was seized and the crew of the semi-sub was taken into custody.
