France who killed ben barka
FILE - In this early 1960s photo shows Moroccan opposition leader Mehdi Ben Barka. Barka disappeared 44 years ago this month, snatched by two French police officers in front of a chic Left Bank cafe. This month, the probe looked set to take a long-awaited key step forward, at last before hitting yet another glitch. Ben Barka’s son says entangled ties between France and former colony Morocco are to blame for keeping the case a mystery.
