New Zealand Earthquake

This graph supplied by the New Zealand National Seismograph Network shows an earthquake that was centered just off the South West Coast of the South Island in New Zealand at about 21:30 NZ Standard time on Wednesday, July 15, 2009. A 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck off New Zealand’s western coast Wednesday generating a small tsunami. No injuries or major damage were reported.
