This undated photo provided by People for the Ethnical Treatment of Animals (PETA) shows Lydia Guevara posing on the set of her PETA photo shoot. The granddaughter of Cuban revolutionary leader Ernesto ”Che” Guevara is the face of a new PETA campaign touting ”the vegetarian revolution.” PETA spokesman Michael McGraw said the campaign will debut in Argentina in October 2009 and will be seen internationally. It’s PETA’s first vegetarianism campaign in South America.
”Che's life is an inspiration for every human being who loves freedom. We will always honor his memory.”
— Nelson Mandela
”Che is not only an intellectual, he was the most complete human being of our time, our eras most perfect man.”
— Jean Paul Sartre
It says a lot about the mentality of PETA that they would invoke the memory and image of a butcher of human beings in order to promote their cause against the butchery of animals.
Esto dice mucho sobre la mentalidad de PETA que ellos invocarían la memoria y la imagen de un carnicero de seres humanos a fin de promover su causa contra la matanza de animales.
